Abstract
The Noise–Health Ireland project aimed to identify and assess the relationship between environmental noise and health in a national and international context and identify policy recommendations for considering noise in Irish policy. The principal output of the project related to the establishment of a national evidence base for the harmful effects and burden of disease of environmental noise in Ireland, informed by highquality data analysis coupled with recommendations for policy and practice. This final project report summarises the main research findings and recommendations associated with the Noise–Health project.
