Abstract
For more details please refer to Chapter 7 (Gcode7.3), of the following book: Soroudi, Alireza. Power System Optimization Modeling in GAMS. Springer, 2017. This chapter provides a solution for operation and planning aspects of energy storage systems (ESS) problem in GAMS. The ESS integration has been analyzed in operation and planning horizon. The inputs are generator’s characteristics, electricity prices, demands, and network topology. The outputs of this code are operating schedules of ESS as well as the investment decisions.
