La résistance du système juridique français face à un potentiel choc autoritaire

Inspired by the ECB's practice of using stress tests to assess how well banks are able to cope with financial and economic shocks, this commissioned report aims to assess how resistant the French legal and constitutional orders would be to an authoritarian shock. It does so by looking at a wide range of legal and constitutional issues, from the separation of powers, to the independence of judges and non-institutional checks and balances, with the view of identifying legal vulnerabilities and other gaps which could be exploited by would-be autocrats.
