Abstract
Emerging adulthood is a period that is characterized by major changes and exploration of various life directions (Arnett, 2000). During a crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic, many youngsters felt like their lives were “on hold” because the restrictions, such as lockdowns and social distancing measures, made it more difficult for them to socialize with friends or romantic partners, to attend college or university, and maintain employment.
