Konzernverantwortung – EU ist einen großen Schritt weiter

On March 15, a clear majority of governments in the EU Council of Ministers agreed on the EU Supply Chain Directive (see also express 3/2024). This obliges multinational corporations to ensure that their subsidiaries, suppliers and distributors respect human rights worldwide. This is not just about forced and child labor, but also about collective union rights, the right to a living wage and environmental due diligence obligations.
