Applied Mathematics is an important school subject which builds students' mathematical and problem solving skills. The subject has remained on the periphery of school time-tables and, without the commitment and enthusiasm of Applied Maths teachers, would likely be omitted from most school curricula.||Type of material:||Journal Article||Publisher:||Irish Applied Mathematics Teachers Association||Journal:||IAMTA Journal||Volume:||9||Start page:||14||End page:||16||Keywords:||Applied mathematics; Curriculum reform||Other versions:||http://www.iamta.ie/news/||Language:||en||Status of Item:||Not peer reviewed|
