The teacher had been asked “What about the homos?” during questioning on the Forum on Pluralism and Patronage by one member of the interview panel, a religious sister. The investigating Equality Officer found this question, along with a number of others, discriminatory and, therefore, unlawful and awarded €54,000 to the teacher.||Type of material:||Book Chapter||Publisher:||Education Matters||Keywords:||LGBT teachers; Workplace discrimination; Primary schools||Other versions:||https://educationmatters.ie/download-irelands-yearbook-education/||Language:||en||Status of Item:||Not peer reviewed||Is part of:||Mooney, B.
