It often represents a shift of energies from the lecturer ‘doing/telling’ to students actively engaging in meaningful tasks in-class, out of class and or online. Active learning is key to student engagement, motivation and agency in the learning process. This poster depicts the journey of four faculty partners in the rollout of the digital badge in Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This badge was developed for the Forum by AHEAD and UCD Access & Lifelong Learning. 15 academics from the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Health Systems and School of Puplic Health and Sports Science participated in the course over 10 weeks.enDigital badgesUniversal Design for LearningProfessional development and trainingNursing and midwiferyLaying the stepping stones towards UDLConference Publication2022-06-01https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ie/
