Abstract
The main contribution of this paper is to explore how changes are being reflected in the internationalisation of planning education programmes in Ireland. Education in planning as a professional discipline partly reflects the changing needs of the profession. This study specifically examines how a widening internationalisation of student intake can drive curriculum change and enhance the educational experience of both local and incoming students. It also contributes to discussions on planning curricula and subject-specific pedagogical developments.
