The first judgment in Ireland

I can never forget the sunny summer afternoon in 2014, when our honorand gave me a whole set of Corpus Iuris Hibernici as gift. For a PhD student working on early Irish legal narratives, it was such a great encouragement and largesse, which however have always been shown by our honorand in our communications. I would like to present this study on a short text in CIH as a token of gratitude to Neil, and to show him (I hope) that I have, as he instructed, ‘made good use’ of the books.
